1.5 kilos of cannabis seized in Paphos


 

Two individuals, aged 30 and 29, were arrested yesterday by the Paphos Police following the detection and seizure of cannabis weighing a total of 1.489 kilograms.

At around 9:30 p.m., police stopped the two individuals for a check while they were walking on a street in Paphos. During the search, the 30-year-old was found with 18 grams of cannabis, and the 29-year-old was found with 2 grams. Both were arrested for the first-degree offense of illegal drug possession, and the drugs were confiscated.

Subsequent searches of their homes and properties revealed additional quantities of cannabis.

In a property maintained by the 29-year-old in Paphos, police found and seized 1.128 kilograms of cannabis, along with precision scales and other related evidence. At the 30-year-old’s residence, authorities confiscated 341 grams of cannabis.
