One person aged 47 was arrested for the possession of drugs in Gazimağusa yesterday at around 2.30 pm following a police raid by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team.
According to a police report, a piece of paper believed to contain cannabinoid-type drug deposits were detected at the individuals residence and taken as evidence.
The individual in question has been arrested, it has been reported.
An investigation is ongoing.
