One person died in a traffic accident that took place on the Lefkoşa (Nicosia) – Girne (Kyrenia) road, near Ciklos last night.
Review of the crash scene indicated that 22-year-old Eilin UMURZAKOVA was driving towards Girne (Kyrenia) as she lost control and rolled over the guardrail.
Driver Eilin UMURZAKOVA (F-22), and passengers Tatiana PAK (F-65), Emirkan ÖZKAN (M-10), and Alpaslan ÖZKAN (M-5) were injured following the accident and taken to Lefkoşa Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital for treatment.
65-year-old Tatiana PAK, who was seriously injured in the accident, could not be saved despite all efforts.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
