A 13-year-old pedestrian was injured in a traffic accident yesterday in Lefkoşa (Nicosia).
Police report that a 29-year-old driver of TR 161 registered vehicle heading towards the east on the Dr. Fazıl Küçük Boulevard in Lefkoşa at around 3:45 pm, hit Anatoli GULEVİ (B-13) who was trying to cross the road from south to north near Okmar Market.
Anatoli, who was injured, was taken to the Lefkoşa Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
