14 wild donkeys slaughtered in Karpaz, sparking outrage


 

The brutal killing of 14 wild donkeys in the Karpaz Peninsula has triggered widespread outrage across the country.

According to reports, teams from the Cyprus Wildlife Research Institute discovered the 14 donkeys that had been shot at close range while conducting fieldwork in the area.

In a statement on social media, Taskent Nature Park confirmed that police have launched an investigation into the incident, with the Veterinary Department also being notified.
