Two individuals were injured after jumping from a house balcony while trying to escape from the police, following an operation that was carried out by the Crime Prevention Squad of the Girne (Kyrenia) Police Department.
According to a police report, within the scope of an operation that was carried out at a residence yesterday, where suspects A.A. (F-27), O.H.S. (F-25), V.I. (F-26), J.P.O (F-23) and S.M.J. (F-23) were present, J.P.O., and S.M.J jumped from the balcony while trying to escape from the police.
The individuals who were admitted to the Lefkoşa Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital for treatment were later moved to the orthopedic ward. It has been reported that J.P.O had a fracture in the right hand and left hip, and S.M.J in the left foot and wrist.
