2023 inflation rate announced as 83.63%


 

According to the Statistical Institute, the 2023 inflation rate has been announced as 83.63 %.
A statement by the Statistical Institute said that there has been a change of 5.44 % in the General Index of Consumer Prices compared to the previous month and 83.63 % compared to December last year.
The results show that the highest increase in terms of main expenditure groups, compared to the previous month with a 15.10 % rate, are dining and hotels.
Compared to the previous month, the prices of 557 items have increased while prices of 33 items have decreased.

COURGETTE HAS THE HIGHEST PRICE INCREASE

According to results, the first three goods with the highest price increase were reported as; Courgette with a 260.58 % rate, cucumber with a 137.98 % rate, and eggplant with a 106.56 % rate. Meanwhile, the first three goods with the highest price decrease are; Cauliflower with a 65.35 % rate, Cabbage with a 34.14 % rate, and Lemon with a 23.15 % rate.
