An Ortaköy (Ortakioi) resident Aya ABIDA, 22, was injured after a refrigerator fell on her at around 11 a.m. on July 7, while she was cleaning her kitchen.
ABIDA was admitted to the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) and is being kept under observation in the Neurology Service due to a brain hemorrhage.
An investigation is underway.
