A 22-year-old man was injured in a traffic accident yesterday evening in Pamuklu (Tavros).
Police reported that the head-on collision happened at around 6.45 yesterday evening at the entrance of Pamuklu (Tavros) village.
Driver of PXB 691 registered vehicle Nabil AHMAD, 44, who was heading east, carelessly crossed into the opposite lane and crashed head-on with driver of YH 492 Halit EROL, 22.
Driver of YH 492 registered vehicle, Halit EROL, 22, was admitted to the Gazimağusa State Hospital and is being kept under observation.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
