25th TÜRKSOY Opera Days to begin with concert at Bellapais Monastery


 

The 25th TÜRKSOY Opera Days, dedicated to Kamran Aziz, North Cyprus’ first female composer, will kick off on Thursday evening with a concert at the Bellapais Monastery.

According to the Department of Culture, the event will feature three concerts: the first on Thursday at Bellapais Monastery, the second on Friday at Famagusta’s Othello Castle, and the final performance on Wednesday, September 25, in Ankara, Türkiye.

The event is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, TÜRKSOY, and the Turkish Republic’s Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment. Organized in collaboration with the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet, all concerts are open to the public and will begin at 8 PM.
