A significant amount of cannabis was discovered and confiscated early this morning at Larnaca Airport following a coordinated effort between police and Customs Authorities.
The drugs were found during a luggage inspection of a 27-year-old man who had just arrived from abroad. A total of 41 packages containing cannabis, weighing approximately 24 kilograms, were uncovered and seized.
The man was arrested to assist with the ongoing investigation into the case.
