3 arrested in Girne in connection to man strangled to death!


 

It has been confirmed that the man found dead in Girne (Kyrenia) was a victim of murder.
The police statement said that three people believed to be suspects were arrested and taken to court.
The police statement is as follows:
“S.M. (M-39), K.K. (F-36), and A.V. (M-58), who were believed to be involved in the suspicious death of Mikhail KAMYSHANOV (M-40), who was found dead in a shop, which was under renovation, on the Uğur Mumcu Boulevard in Girne (Kyrenia), at around 5 pm on November 27, 2023 have been arrested and taken to the Girne (Kyrenia) District Court. A three-day detention period was ordered against the suspects.
Following an autopsy, the cause of Mikhail KAMYSHANOV’s death is reported to either be strangulation or pressure to his neck. The exact cause of Mikhail’s death will be determined following further examinations. An investigation is ongoing.”
