3 suspects have been charged 18 months imprisonment for theft!

The verdict of the court case into three people smuggling 2 motorcycles worth a total value of 21 thousand Euros from Beyarmudu (Pergamos) has been announced.

Judge Tutku Candaş said that crimes like this are common and high on the agenda of the criminal court. Candaş explained that such crimes disrupt public peace and she found the defendants guilty of the cases brought against them in the light of their own confessions, and extensive evidence submitted. The court sentenced them to 18 months in prison.

Referring to the incident that took place on November 23, 2023 at around 4 am, the judge ruled that the defendants, with a pick-up type vehicle in Limassol, South Cyprus, smashed into the window of the motorcycle shop called Lambrou and then smuggled 2 of the motorcycles over to North Cyprus from Beyarmudu (Perfamos).
