30 boats from Lebanon dock at Ayia Napa and Larnaca marinas – more arrivals expected

Boats from Lebanon are arriving daily at the marinas of Ayia Napa and Larnaca, carrying European citizens, along with diplomatic and administrative staff from foreign embassies, seeking to escape the escalating situation in the Middle East following Iran’s ballistic missile attack on Israel last night.

According to information from CNA, approximately 6 to 7 boats reach Ayia Napa’s marina each day, transporting European nationals and embassy personnel. So far, 30 boats have docked at the marina, which has been fully prepared to accommodate these arrivals. The flow of boats is expected to continue in the coming days.

In addition, on the morning of Monday, September 30th, a boat from Lebanon arrived at Larnaca marina, carrying around 10 to 15 people, including diplomatic and administrative staff from an embassy with diplomatic relations with Lebanon.

Further arrivals are anticipated at both the Ayia Napa and Larnaca marinas as the situation in the region remains tense.
