31-year-old man in critical condition after a buggy collision in Akamas


 

A 31-year-old man is in critical condition at Paphos General Hospital following a road collision in the Akamas area yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. when the man, driving a rented buggy-type motorcycle on a forest dirt road in Akamas, lost control of the vehicle. Under circumstances still under investigation, the buggy veered off course and collided with nearby trees, coming to a stop.

The impact left the man with serious injuries. He was rushed to Paphos General Hospital by ambulance, where he remains hospitalized in critical condition.

The Polis Chrysochous Police Station is continuing its investigation into the incident.
