As part of the cooperation between the Police and the Customs Authorities to identify individuals importing drugs into Cyprus, a 31-year-old woman was detected and stopped for inspection at Larnaca Airport yesterday around 7:45 PM.
In her possession, authorities found 5,879 pills and nine paper packages containing white powder, believed to be controlled drugs. These items were confiscated.
The 31-year-old woman was arrested under a judicial warrant and taken into custody to facilitate the investigation.
