Police are investigating the death of a 59-year-old British man who was found in his Pallouriotissa apartment late Wednesday night. The discovery was made after neighbors reported a foul odor coming from the residence.
An initial examination of the scene revealed blood spatter in several areas and a visible wound under the man’s chin. The exact cause of death remains undetermined, pending the results of an autopsy scheduled for Thursday morning.
The victim, a tour operator, had reportedly been living in Cyprus for some time. His wife was visiting the island at the time of his death. Police have confirmed that the man had regular interactions with his neighbors.
