6-year-old left on bus after Larnaca school trip

A 6-year-old boy was left alone on a bus for an hour and a half following a summer school trip in Larnaca, prompting a police investigation into potential criminal charges.

The incident took place yesterday, when a summer school group returned from a field trip. While all the other students disembarked, the 6-year-old, who had fallen asleep, remained unnoticed on the bus.

A search was conducted, and the child was eventually discovered inside the locked bus. Fortunately, the boy was unharmed. His parents immediately alerted the police and the Ministry of Education.

Larnaca Police confirmed that the boy’s parents have filed a complaint, and the relevant services have been alerted. The police are now investigating the matter and collecting statements to determine if any criminal offenses occurred.
