800 tons of wastewater being discharged on soil!


 

Approximately 800 tons of wastewater drawn from wells in İskele (Trikomo) with sewage trucks is being discharged into garbage areas and empty land.

Yenidüzen newspaper has footage of the scenes of the wastewater being discharged and spoke with locals in the area. Authorities are cited as saying that the process was being carried out by large companies and that empty land was used for dumping. They said that transporting the wastewater with sewage trucks to the waste treatment plant in Haspolat (Mia Milia) would be too costly.
