John Regan was a talented and versatile bassist who played with numerous iconic musicians. He was a member of Ace Frehley’s band, Frehley’s Comet, from 1984 to 1990 and performed and recorded with Peter Frampton from 1979 to 2010.

He passed suddenly, but that was his wish. I had heard him over the past few weeks having lengthy conversations with many of you, and you brought such joy to him. Thank you all for your heartfelt messages.”
In addition to Regan’s wife, in a touching tribute, Peter also took to Twitter to express his sorrow, calling Regan one of his ‘closest buddies’ who ‘enriched’ his life.
