One woman died after losing control of her vehicle and crashing into a tree on the Gazimağusa (Famagusta) – İskele (Trikomo) main road.
A police statement said that Zahra GHODRATI (F-39), driver of JZ 038 registered vehicle, lost control of her steering wheel approximately 500 meters ahead of the Salamis Circle junction while heading towards Gazimağusa (Famagusta).
The driver lost control, hit a tree, and landed sideways.
Following the accident, Zahra GHODRATI died at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
