The statement by the municipality said that the practice will be implemented to improve street amenity and safety. Vehicles will be prohibited from entering the road between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

CITY SAFETY TEAMS TO PATROL THE AREA

As the practice comes into effect the Girne (Kyrenia) Municipality City Safety teams will patrol the area.
The teams will carry out inspections in the area to curb the violation of lighting fires for picnics and listening to loud music, which are the greatest disturbances in the region. The inspectors will be able to fine individuals for violating the law.
It was stated that vehicles in the region can use the exit located on the eastern side of the coastline during the specified hours.
