143 kg of meat seized at Metehan checkpoint!


 

It has been reported that the police seized 143 kg of meat at the Metehan checkpoint, this morning.

Ş.D (M-61) attempting to illegally smuggle 143 kilograms of beef and lamb meat across from the South to the North via the Metehan checkpoint in Lefkoşa at around 11:45 a.m. today was detected by the customs and tax officers.

Ş.D. received a fine by custom and tax officials.
