Former Greek Cypriot Leader George Vassiliou, was admitted to Nicosia General Hospital last night .
Vassiliou, at the age of 93, faced a health problem prompting the need for immediate medical attention.
The state of his health is being closely monitored by the professionals at Nicosia General Hospital.
