AKEL paid visit to Bağımsızlık Yolu Party

A delegation from the Greek Cypriot political party AKEL visited the Bağımsızlık Yolu (Independence Path) party.
The AKEL member of the Central Committee and European Parliament candidate Stavri Kalopsidiotu and AKEL member of the Central Committee and Reconciliation Bureau Officer Elias Dimitriu attended the meeting held at the General Headquarters of the Bağımsızlık Yolu party.
Representing the Bağımsızlık Yolu Party a delegation including Foreign Relations Secretary Salih Hayaloğlu, Financial Secretary Münür Rahvancıoğlu and Foreign Relations Deputy Secretary Mustafa Keleşzade from the party were also present.
Evaluations were made on the latest developments in Cyprus and Europe, and elections to be held in the European Parliament were discussed.
In addition, ideas were exchanged on issues concerning the Turkish Cypriot people and the current situation on bi-communal relations.
