Met office warns of stormy weather!


 

The Meteorology Department announced that gale winds are expected at land and sea from 2 p.m. today (May 2) until midnight.

Warning has been issued, with the potential for stronger winds blowing from south and west directions and predictions that gusts could top 7 wind force (35mph). It has been reported that gusts are expected to get stronger with a stormy effect at land.
Temperatures will generally be around 25-31ºC inland and on the coast.

The temperature in the capital Lefkoşa (Nicosia) will be around 31ºC.
