The 15th Traditional Zerdali Festival, organized by Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality, will be held in the Esentepe festival area on Friday and Saturday.
The statement by the Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality Festival Committee, said that the festival highlights cultural heritage and traditional values. Locally produced Cyprus handicrafts, food-beverage made from Zerdali and various stands will be set up for those who visit the festival.
The festival will begin with a cortege on Friday at 6.45 p.m. and will continue with opening speeches at 7.30 p.m.
The statement announced that a along with a folk dance show, Retro Çalgıcıları and Grup Otantik will take the stage on Friday evening.
Saturday evenings’ event which will begin at 8 p.m. will start with a Nostalgic Fashion Show, and will continue with dance shows, followed by a concert of the 90s singers such as Ferda Anıl Yarkın, Zafer Peker, Hazal and Ali Güven.
The festival will end with a concert by WOLF F18.
