564 traffic violators fined!


 

North Cyprus Police reported 564 individuals yesterday across the island for violating traffic rules.

Legal action has been filed against the 564 individuals, 2,187 vehicles were pulled over and 30 individuals have received vehicle bans following inspections.

Reported Traffic Crimes are as follows;

183 people were fined for driving over the legal speed limit,

12 for driving under the influence of alcohol,

4 for driving without a driving license and insurance,

240 for using a mobile device while driving,

15 for driving without a valid road tax,

2 for driving an unregistered vehicle,

4 for driving without insurance,

1 for dangerous driving,

and 103 for committing other traffic crimes.
