Cyprus deports migrants in a collaborative operation with FRONTEX


 

A joint forced return flight for people who were residing illegally in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus took place on Tuesday, May 21, with the cooperation of the authorities of Cyprus and Greece, under the coordination of FRONTEX.
Cyprus Police announced on Friday that, as of May 21, a total of 4,491 individuals have been repatriated from Cyprus.
This represents a significant increase compared to the 3,489 repatriations during the same period in 2023.
