Classic Nostalgia Car Festival held at Ercan Airport


 

T&T Airport Management organized an event at Ercan Airport that gave great importance and support to the culture, art, traditions, and customs of Cyprus as well as social events.

The ‘Classic Car Festival’ jointly organized by T&T Airport Management and North Cyprus Classic & Sports Car Club was held at Ercan Airport. The ‘Classic Car Festival’ which was held at the entrance of the departures area attracted great attention.

President of the North Cyprus Classic & Sports Car Club, Akın Demirağ was happy to announce that the ‘Classic Car Festival’ organized at the new Ercan Airport attracted visitor’s attention.

Stating that many from distant regions such as Tepebaşı (Diorios), Çatalköy (Agios Epiktitos), and Esentepe (Agios Nikolaos), travelled for the event, Demirağ said, “Both local and foreign club members took part in the event. Passengers at the airport during the festival showed great interest in classic cars. Participants were able to socialize and get to know more about Ercan Airport. We would like to thank our sponsor T&T Ercan Airport Management for the organization of the Classic Car Festival and for hosting our participants very well, and everyone else who contributed to the organization.”

T&T Airport Operator Deputy General Manager Şevki Turanlı, who attended the ‘Classic Car Festival’, stated that classic vehicles are not only filled with technological memories but also with unique designs, aesthetic appeal, and great examples of the technology of their period.

Turanlı wished that the event jointly organized with the North Cyprus Classic & Sports Car Club, would be traditional and thanked all the participants for attending the festival.
