A 13-year-old seriously injured in a road collision


 

A 13-year-old boy is in serious condition at Limassol General Hospital following a road collision last night in Limassol.
The accident occurred around 9 p.m. on Kolonakiou Street. Preliminary information indicates that the boy was crossing the road on an electric scooter when he was struck by a car driven by a 19-year-old.
The boy sustained multiple injuries, including broken ribs, a leg and an arm, and a skull fracture. After undergoing surgery, he remains hospitalized in serious condition.
The Limassol Traffic Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
