Cost of living for May 3.5 percent


 

The Statistics Institute announced the cost of living rate for May as 3.5% compared to the previous month.

According to the announced data, the 5-month cost of living in the General Index of Consumer Prices compared to the previous December was 27.28% and the annual inflation was 95.37% compared to the same month of the previous year.

The first three goods with the highest price increase were theater tickets with 150%, lemon with 116.92% and parsley with 72.64%.

The first three products with the highest price decrease were watermelon with 45.8%, melon with 45.26% and bell pepper with 42.61%.

Compared to the previous month, average prices of 465 items in the index increased while average prices of 114 items decreased.
