Harmancı “The visa process will start in July”

The Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) Mayor Mehmet Harmancı, announced that the “Pedieos River/Kanlıdere Rehabilitation (linear park) Project” has been completed and that the visa process will begin in July.

Harmancı’s statement on his social media account said; “Today is a very important day, today it is World Environment Day. I am excited for our city Lefkoşa (Nicosia) as the Kanlıdere Project will be opening for public use which will protect the entire habitat.

Six years ago, we agreed that the project would start with a bi-communal consensus.

At this point today, the project has been completed, and the visa process will begin in July.
Can this project be done? An investment of approximately 5.5 million Euros is needed for this kind of Project.
We will persistently let the funders know that this project is a project that will restart life for our city, Lefkoşa (Nicosia).
“We will realize this dream sooner or later.”
