New yellow warning for high temperatures, red alert for forest fires still in place


 

A new yellow warning was issued by the Meteorology Department for extreme high temperatures.It’s effective from 9 pm this evening until 3 pm tomorrow afternoon.

Tonight, temperatures are expected to remain uncomfortably high, not falling below 27 degrees Celsius.
Inland areas are forecast to experience great heat tomorrow, with highs reaching around 40 degrees Celsius.
