Livestock breeders announced that action will continue on Monday!

Head of the Livestock Producers and Breeders Association Mustafa Naimoğulları put forward demands at a meeting with Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, but unfortunately consensus could not be reached.

Following their meeting, which mainly focused on meat, dairy and the protection of animals, Naimoğulları noted that their demands will be evaluated at a Council of Ministers meeting. He said the government was not displaying good will and blamed them for playing with time.

Stating that the action process will continue, and that they expect a new initiative from the Council of Ministers until that day, Naimoğulları said that the government only agrees on a protocol on meat, but they also expect initiatives on other issues such as improving direct income support of small cattle and revealing the cost of raw milk.
