5,676 Turkish Cypriots voted in EP Elections

Voting stations in Cyprus closed at 18:00.

Out of 103,281 registered Turkish Cypriot voters, 5,676 participated in the European Parliament (EP) elections this term, similar to the turnout in 2019.

According to exit polls, changes in the number of MEP seats held by political parties are expected.

The number of MEP seats per political party in the previous term were: AKEL 2, DISY 2, DIKO 1, EDEK 1.

In a statement by the general commissioner of elections, EP election results will be published after midnight along with the complete European count.
