Outdoor work banned for 2 days!

In an attempt to safeguard the health and wellbeing of employees, particularly those working outdoors, all work under the sun shall remain suspended for four hours for two days, as average temperatures will be higher than usual.

From Thursday (today), June 13, until Friday, June 14, workers will be prohibited from working outdoors from noon until 4 p.m., according to a decision by the The Ministry of Labour and Social Security. The decision has been published in the Official Gazette.

This decision comes within the framework of protecting the safety and the health of those working under the sun and to prevent anything that can lead to health dangers and provide a healthy and safe working environment for them.

Starting times for work in the Agriculture and Construction sector outside residential areas can be determined by employers; Within the scope of early working times, employees can start work early in order to transport aggregate, ready-mixed concrete, other construction materials and construction equipment to the location of the construction work.
