North Cyprus by-elections to be held on June 25th


 

By-elections for the Rebuplic’s Assembly and Local Authorities in North Cyprus will be held on June 25th.
The by-elections will be held for one Lefkoşa (Nicosia) deputy, which was vacated in the Parliament after the leader of the People’s Party (HP) Kudret Özersay, resigned in June last year. Local by-elections will be held for the members of 1 headman’s office and 50 aldermen in 5 districts, which were vacated for various reasons.
