24th International Famagusta Culture and Arts Festival to be held after 4-year break


 

The International Famagusta Culture and Arts Festival, organized for the 24th time after 4-years by the Famagusta Municipality (GMB), will take place at the Salamis Ancient Theatre between June 25 – July 15, with historical and cultural venues.

Son Feci Bisiklet, Bunfyan Fırat & Mato, MFÖ – Mazhar Fuat, Cemre Arca The Beez, Island Sedds Buzz’ Ayaz, Eliades Ochoa and La Casa De Papel’s voice Cecilia Krull will be performing at the festival this year.

Sharing a rehearsal with the audience, Aliye Ummanel and So Kolektif’s “Lost” reading performance, a show “Tek Şahidi Cümbezdi” presented by Abdullah Öztoprak, a play “Richard” written and directed by Okan Bayülgen, and a member of the world-famous Flamenco troupe Los Vivancos, Aaron Vivancos’ will be performing a dance show “Woman” during the festival.

The festival, will start with an opening concert at the Namık Kemal Square on June 25 free of charge. Abdullah Öztoprak’s “Tek Şahidi Cümbezdi” fashion show will also be invited to the festival. All concerts and shows during in the festival will be included to a price of 200 TL. The combined tickets will be sold for 1200 TL.

Concerts and shows are set to begin at 21 p.m.
