4.3 magnitude earthquake rattles the Mediterranean


 

A moderate magnitude 4.3 earthquake occurred in the Eastern Mediterranean near Gavdos island, Greece, in the morning of Friday, Jun 21, 2024 at 9.09 am local time (Europe/Athens GMT +3). The quake had a very shallow depth of 11.2 km (7 mi) and was reported and felt by some people near the epicenter.
