Alagadi Fest 2023, to be held at Alagadi village over the weekend


 

The Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality has announced that an event will be held at the Alagadi beach. The municipality which has converted the beach into a public beach, will have handicrafts, food, and beverages of Cypriot culture on display, and folk dance teams and artists from Cyprus and Türkiye will perform during the event.
Referring to the beautiful location of Alagadi with beaches in the region, the Çatalköy-Esentepe Mayor Ceyhun Kırok stated at the event he would be drawing attention to environmental problems and insensitivity in the area.
The festival program is as follows:
Saturday, August 26
6 p.m. – Cortege gathering
6.30 p.m. – Cortege start
7 p.m. – Opening Speeches (Opening of Stands and Event Area)
7.30 p.m. – Folk Dance Performances
8.30 p.m. – Group Otantik Concert
9.30 p.m. – Eylem Concert
10.30 p.m. – Burak Bulut- Kurtuluş Kuş Concert

Sunday, August 27
8 p.m. – Group Salt Concert
9 p.m. – Ali Türkez Beach Volleyball Memorial Tournament Award Ceremony and Plaque Presentation to Sponsors
9.30 p.m. – Group SOS Concert
10.30 p.m. – İkilem Concert
