Girne Mayor Şenkul speaks of work being carried out in Kyrenia

It has been announced that as of today the Ziya Rızkı Street has been added to the environmental planning project of the Vakıflar bazaar in Girne (Kyrenia).

On social media, Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul said that work will be carried out for the widening of sidewalks, sitting areas and additional waste bins to be placed.

Şenkul stated that the road lighting from the old municipality building and ending at Atatürk Street, will be extended towards both Dorona Hotel and Atatürk Street.
Şenkul stated that all these arrangements will be made with a minimum budget and sponsorships.

Murat Şenkul said that their main goal was to transform the Ramadan Cemil Square into an authentic square within a year, and to turn the Girne bazaar into a much more organized and attractive area.
Noting that they have updated the prices of the Baldöken parking area, Şenkul said that they have increased the free parking time from 15 to 25 minutes.
