Around 200 Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots have participated in the International Day of Peace Run 2023.
This runners gathered for a Run for Peace to mark International Peace Day joined by top United Nations official in Cyprus, Colin Stewart, outside Ledra Palace Hotel in the bufferzone.
The 8 km run, took place in the old city of Nicosia, with the route passing through renowned landmarks.
The International Day of Peace Run 2023 was funded by the European Union, organized by UNDP in coordination with OSASG-Cyprus under the auspices of The Technical Committee on Culture with RUNITE .
