Turkish Cypriot saved the life of a 46-year-old in South Cyprus!


 

Turkish Cypriot Shaziye Azimkar saved the life of a 46-year-old who had a heart attack at the Engomi Mall in Nicosia, on Tuesday.
According to the Cyprus Mail, a Turkish Cypriot woman in her 30s remained calm and carried out emergency treatment on a man who was having a heart attack.
The head of the Ambulance Service Riana Constantinou confirmed the incident that took place at the shopping centre yesterday, on the CYBC morning program.
Constantinou said that the woman who did not reveal her identity at the scene, was at the right place at the right time and added that the ambulance staff felt the life-saving woman deserved gratitude.

AZIMKAR MADE A STATEMENT ON HER SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT

Following the news making the Turkish Cypriot headlines, her name was revealed as Shaziye Azimkar.

Issuing a statement on her social media account, she said, “Yesterday, I experienced one of the most important tests of my life. Yesterday, I helped bring a person back to life with the first aid training, I received. What a great feeling, Once again, I saw from my own experience that first aid saves lives,” he said.
