The Statistical Institute of North Cyprus announced the cost of living for March as 2.10%.
According to data shared by the Statistical Institute, the cost of living compared to last month is 2.10%, compared to last December 9.65% and last March 66.97%.
-The highest increase has been recorded at restaurants and hotels at 5.20%
In terms of main expenditure groups, the highest increase was 5.20 percent in the main group of ‘restaurants and hotels’ compared to the previous month. 4.86 percent in the main group of health, 3.30 percent in the main group of food and non-alcoholic beverages, 3.15 percent in the main group of various goods and services, 2.88 percent in the main group of furniture, household appliances, and home care services, 2.35 percent in the main group of clothing and shoes, alcoholic beverages and tobacco main group.
There was also an increase of 1.18 percent in the main group of housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels. 0.93 percent has been recorded in the main group of entertainment and culture, 0.74 percent in the main group of entertainment and culture, 0.52 percent in the main group of transportation, 0.14 percent in the main group of education, and 0.08 percent in the main group of communication.
The average prices of 493 items increased, while the average prices of 100 items decreased.

-The 3 products with the highest price increase are melons, newspapers, and grapes.
-The first three goods with the highest price increase;
126.77 percent melon, 60.00 percent newspaper (Code: 7), and 49.68 percent grape.
-The first three goods with the highest price decrease are;
37.47 percent cabbage, 31.85 percent white cabbage, and 30.21 percent parsley.
