The Cypriot painter Kyriakos Lyras passed away at the age of 75


 

The Cypriot painter Kyriakos Lyras passed away last Saturday at the age of 75.
A student of Telemachus Kanthos, Lyras maintained a painting workshop and the gallery L.K. Gallery in Strovolos. He was the author of the book “Watercolors” and had held more than 50 personal exhibitions.
His funeral will be held today, Monday at 3 pm. in the Holy Church of Apostle Mark in Archangelos. The family will receive condolences from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.
