A Bulgarian man dies after crash on Limassol-Nicosia highway


 

A 43-year-old Bulgarian man Atanas Bornev, lost his life in a car accident on Limassol-Nicosia highway. The collision also left a 23-year-old man, driving the other car, with minor injuries.

The incident unfolded around 9:30 p.m., with the cause of the collision currently under investigation by Larnaca Traffic Police. Details surrounding how Bornev lost control of his vehicle remain undisclosed.

Following the collision, Bornev became trapped in his car. Both drivers were subsequently transported to Nicosia General Hospital, where Bornev was sadly pronounced dead. The 23-year-old received first aid and was later discharged
