Polykarpos Michael, 61 years old died in a road collision in Kokkinotrimithia, last night.
According to the police, he was ran over by a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old man on Grigoris Afxentiou Avenue around 10 pm last night.
The 61-year-old was taken by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The 45-year-old driver was arrested with a judicial arrest warrant and then, after being interrogated, was released.
The Nicosia Traffic Police continues the examinations.
