A new procedure for detainees

The government has amended the law for detained individuals and ruled that detainees will not be handcuffed by police while being taken to court unless they have committed an intentional murder crime. Minister of Interior Dursun Oğuz claimed that this decision was taken on June 26.

He said that along with society he was saddened by some of the footage that has damaged the reputation of individuals.
