An armed attack in Girne (Kyrenia) in the early hours of Friday morning left one person injured, according to a police statement.
The incident took place at a business located on University Road, where unknown assailant(s) opened fire. During the attack, an employee was shot in the leg and was subsequently taken to Dr. Akçiçek Hospital in Kyrenia for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation.
